I've been working for close to a year at editing and in some instances, completely overhauling SJM. I finished this book back in 2014. Had it edited by the late GREAT genre bending writer, Valjeanne Jeffers, then sat on it. No more! This thing is nearly ready for another professional edit!

Sun Juice Mechanics or SJM, has evolved into a perpetuation of the Daathverse. It's almost as if spirit kept me from publishing this work until I developed or started the Daathverse. For those of you wondering what's going with the channel, see above and stand by.

I'm looking forward to getting SJM into the hands of a top notch editor so I can: get it to the people; re-start the Daathverse; drop book two of SJM - which is about 30% done BTW, and get back to hanging out in various FB groups of creators, watching my fav Youtube channels, and honoring the borrowed creativity bestowed upon me at birth by completing this book!

Back in business. My original Trademark that I let die is now registered. Just received the notification from USPTO and the law firm I had file the mark. Waiting on USPTO to update their listing from pending to registered. May take a day or two …

Hollywood loves dysfunctional black people. Yes, this includes super powered black people. I’m talking about Wonder Man. Maybe this is why I’m hearing so many great reviews from a certain demographic. I’m hearing phrases like, “This is one of the least Marvel-like shows to air to date. I love it.” And then there’s, “Oh wow, this reminds me of those buddy cop movies from back in the 80s.” Meh.

I wanted to see Wonder Man tossing trucks and smashing robots and smacking heroes and villains alike. I wanted to see a man filled with power and confidence. I wanted to see the beginnings of the introduction of Wonder Man into the MCU as a fully realized character of substance. We got eight episodes of a maladjusted adult child trying to find his way at damn near 40. No thanks.

I assure you that if one Simon Williams featured in this latest Marvel outing was a certified badass, folks would be pissed. They’d be screaming about race swopping and DEI and what not. In my opinion this is why we didn’t get Simon Williams the rich industrialist. A guy strong enough to floor Thor with a single punch; if you know you know. Instead we got a super powered Black man with no direction; hence what the f$%%k is he supposed to do with the Mandarin after having taken him in his arms and flying away with him?

At the end of the day this is disney. I'm not expecting much. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Insert failed interracial relationship here because we can't have healthy Black heterosexual relationships in media. Yup … Wonder Man sucks.

It seems to me, that I should be posting on my own site FAR more than I post on any social media platform. If and when I post on social media, imma hit up the various groups of like minded folks on FB. Twitter, Bluesky, and Linkedin will get the occasional update here and there. That said, probably won't get any hits, but hey, it's my site and it's been going nonstop since 2009!

Speaking of twitter. It's getting harder and harder for a man of my sensibilities to utilize that platform. For obvious reasons.

Black people really do need a huge social media platform to signal-boost the best of our various communities.

Greetings people. As mentioned last month, future NETERS® projects will likely be in the form of illustrated novels. Or better yet, illustrated novellas. Having previously authored novels and comics, it seems my particular skill-set is best suited or complimented by combining hard hitting prose and cutting edged imagery.

Now unlike the comics that dropped over a decade ago, each story will be a stand alone feature. We're talking potentially 100 + pages of Sun Fiction under the NETERS® umbrella!

Now I just have to decide if the illustrations will be black & white, or color.

Greetings people. It seems to me, that the way to proceed with the type of expression that I have coined as Sun Fiction, is through illustrated novels.

I will continue to author traditional novels. At least finish what I've started, but yeah … future Sun Fiction; especially as it relates to all things NETERS® will be illustrated novels.

Master of the EBB-/-FLO. An Orisha-Reflexive-System of his own design. It allows its practitioners to display vast Neter level abilities. Sut is considered a planetary threat, as he is capable of sending equally powerful expressions of himself anywhere in the world instantaneously.

These expressions are fully conscious and capable of independent thought and action. It is observed that they maintain their presence and agenda until they come in contact with an older expression; for which time the more recent of them simply ceases to exist.
